We are an electrical company working in homes, co-ops, condos and businesses across New York. The work runs from the call nobody wants at 2 a.m., a breaker that will not reset or a burning smell, to the planned jobs that take weeks of filings: panel and service upgrades, rewiring in plaster walls, EV chargers, heat pump circuits and commercial fit-outs.
Our catalog covers 51 services in six groups, each with its own page explaining what the job involves, what moves the price and what to expect. The services index is the best place to start if you are not sure which one you need.

How a job runs
From the first call to cleanup
The same steps for a dead outlet and a 200-amp service upgrade.
- 1
The call
The line is answered 24 hours a day. We ask what you are seeing, the address and the building type, and whether anything smells, sparks or feels hot.
- 2
The visit
An electrician finds the cause before anything is replaced, using meters and a thermal camera where they help.
- 3
The scope and price
You get a plain description of the fix and the price before work starts, including permits where the job needs them.
- 4
The work
Permitted jobs are filed with the DOB and inspected. In co-ops and condos we work within the building's rules and hours.
- 5
The cleanup and records
Openings are left ready to patch, panels are labeled, and you keep a record of what was done.
Our office is at 39 Fulton St, New York, NY 10038, in lower Manhattan. From there we cover all five boroughs, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island, for emergencies at any hour and for scheduled work.
The work changes with the building. Manhattan jobs often run through co-op boards and building engineers; Queens and Staten Island jobs are more often houses with their own meters, driveways and basements. The service area page describes each borough in more detail, and the contact page has the office details and map.

Our guides
The learning center and its editor
Our electrical guides answer the questions we hear most on calls: what work costs in the city, when a permit is needed, what a tripping breaker means, and how rules like Local Law 88 and the 2025 electrical code apply. They are edited by Harold Chase, our electrical guides editor, who keeps each one current as figures and rules change.
Every figure in the guides is dated and sourced, and every rule points back to the agency that sets it. When a guide describes something you can check yourself, it says so, and when the answer is to stop and call, it says that too.
How we handle information from calls is set out in our privacy policy, and the terms cover call consent, recording and forwarding.
